Part A: Color and Label

Instructions:  First, color the pennants according to the color key on the overhead, using the letter to the left of each pennant to identify the pennants.   Second, write the phonetic name for each pennant on the line provided to the right of that pennant.

Instructions: Use the pennants shown on the overhead to answer this part.   Write the letter of the appropriate pennant beside the situation in which you would hoist that pennant.

D 1 You require assistance for your ship.
G 2 You are carrying dangerous cargo.
F 3 You want to answer a question in the affirmative.
A 4 You have entered a narrow waterway and reqiure a tow.
H 5 You want to say, "No".
C 6 Your vessel is carrying dangerous cargo and it is on fire.
B 7 You desire to communicate.
E 8 You need a pilot.
I 9 You want to enter a foriegn port and your crew is healthy.
M 10 You want to represent the word 'test'.
J 11 You want to represent the word 'ram'.
N 12 You want to represent the word 'why'.
L 13 You want to represent the word 'deal'.
K 14 You want to represent the word 'fox'.
O 15 You want to represent the word 'hip'.

Bonus question for part B:  Write down the only letter that is not represented in the matching questions above and draw the flag for that letter.  The Letter U.

Instructions: Color in the flags to match the numbers to the right of  them then work the problems.
