Grading Rubric for Lifestyles Skits

Instructions:

I have set this up as a percentage based rubric so that you can use whatever total points you want. I usually include a rubric with the worksheets that my students get so that they know how they are being graded. I have, however, made it separate from the worksheet in case you do not want to use it or include it. If you want to use it and let the students see it then you might want to copy it onto the back of the message sheets.

Did everyone help in the skit and in the creation of the skit?

Originality
Is it an original idea, something changed from what they have read, some creativity involved?

Accuracy
Was the skit accurate to something that could have happened in that time period?

Entertainment
Was the skit fun to watch, did it teach something in a fun way?

Neatness

Is it their best handwriting, with no extra markings?

Grammar?

Is the punctuation, spelling and grammar correct?
