Grading Rubric for Botanical Garden Project

Instructions:

I have set this up as a percentage based rubric so that you can use whatever total points you want. I usually include a rubric with the project assignment sheets that my students get so that they know how they are being graded. I have, however, made it separate from the worksheet in case you do not want to use it or include it. If you want to use it and let the students see it then you might want to copy it onto the back of the project sheets.

Followed directions
Did they include a key?  Does the garden clearly show different areas?  Do they use different colors for representing different things?

Originality
Is it an original idea, something changed from the example, some creativity involved?

Accuracy
Was the key correct?  Did it cover all the elements of the project?

Entertainment
Was the presentation enjoyable and through?

Neatness
Was it in their best handwriting and without extra lines or smudges?
